“Eli… Eli?”

His life had come to this, to the point where he was crawling underneath an empty dinner table, a striped sun-hat in one hand and a striped sundress in the other. Samuel David Evans crawled on his hands and knees, wrinkling his button-down blue shirt in the process and staining it with some splattered grape juice, from underneath the table in the dining room and sighed. He hung his head in slight defeat before a noise made his ears perk up.

Day 8 Prompt: The Great Outdoors

Today’s prompt for the first day of week 2 of 30 Days of Kum is the Great Outdoors. Sam thinks the way to a girl’s heart is to take her hunting, does he think the same is true for Kurt? How does Sam persuade Kurt to go hunting or fishing or camping with him? Would Kurt ever deign to spend a night out in the woods? And of course, in the words of Burt Hummel, “From what I gathered, something happened in the tent.”

Pottery making was a hobby of sorts. A cute little thing that mothers indulge in during a free hour between picking up laundry and dropping their daughters off at play dates. However it’s also that thing that first-time boyfriends do to indulge their partners or that girls drag their friends to for a thirteenth birthday party. Today, the occasion fit the first.

Day 7 Prompt: College

Today’s prompt is college, the big scary world out there beyond the walls of McKinley High School. Where do Kurt and Sam end up? Do they go to the same place or try to do long-distance? How would they adjust to college life? Maybe there’s an AU story out there about them meeting in college just begging to be written. If any of those sound interesting, today’s your chance!

Note: The Day 6 prompt post didn’t go up yesterday so we’ll probably move it to one of the theme-less days, but the submission we received for it is still queued up for later today. Kudos to the author for taking the initiative!

Day 5: Prompt - First Times!

Your prompt for today is first times. What will Kurt and Sam’s first kiss be like? First date? First sexual experience, if that’s what you like to write about? You could also go in a more unusual direction and cover their first fight or their first breakup or their first time saying I love you. Sam and Kurt will be having a million firsts soon, why not stop by and tell us about one of them today?

I’ve queued up all the submissions and I’ll make sure all our tags are correct later this evening, but I just wanted to be sure I got the prompt up on time today!

Today is a themeless Thursday, so feel free to submit anything that tickles your fancy. You can revisit any of our previous prompts — Kurt’s return, Sam’s hair, childhood, nationals — or share something you’ve created previously that you just want to bring back. Personally I’m still dying for some fic about Sam’s baby siblings, so keep that in mind. ;)
